Today's review is covering a deck that caught my attention for it's beautiful artwork and it being another creation from Alana Fairchild. I couldn't wait to get my own deck and work with this beauty.

I received this deck from Alana after seeing some pictures of it on the Blue Angel website and was so curious as the artwork is by A. Andrew Gonzalez (an artist from San Antonio), and it was breathtaking!

My Personal Review
This 44-card deck is meant to be used as an Oracle deck, allowing you to devise your own meanings of the cards, as well. The dimensions of the deck are 1.5 x 4.2 x 6.2 inches and published by Blue Angel Publishing and Llewellyn Publications.
The lift top box is beautiful. And similar quality to Blue Angel Publishing decks. I love the quality and also that the decks are a little larger than the size of the decks. They are not easy to transport in their boxes, but I love the quality of the boxes and the larger size.
There is also includes a wonderfully detailed 240 page guidebook, that is so in-depth, much like her other creations. I love how thorough and gentle the messages are. Alana goes through so much of the process of the channeled messages she receives for each card. I enjoy a lot of her work and her writings. They are peaceful and fierce. Her interpretations and knowledge has elevated this deck and transformed it into an incredible oracle to use in any situation. While I usually don't use themed decks for spreads, this deck is that versatile and accurate. The artwork is beautiful - there is no doubt about that and the flat, satin finish just allows the artwork's beauty and details to really shine. The cards look like pictures of marble statues and pieces. It is hyper realistic and truly allows for the details to really stand out. Each card is perfectly executed. A. Andrew Gonzalez's artwork is prominently displayed and paired perfectly with Alana Fairchild's words and wisdom.
The card backs are a stunning wolf face that features a moon, beautiful stars and lovely swirls throughout. Reversals are up to the reader but are really not needed with this deck. The cards are high quality with a satin, flat feel that makes shuffling a little difficult for those who prefer a smoother finish. The cards stick together a bit while shuffling. They are the traditional Blue Angel large size that really makes them almost like pieces of art. But this size is also what makes them difficult to shuffle for those with small hands. The card name and a quick reference is printed on the front of each card which corresponds to the keyword descriptions in the guidebook. There is nothing harsh, garish, or obscene in this deck. It can be used to read for any client, without upsetting them, or having difficulty to translate cards. The cards do feature a bit of nudity on some of the images, so be aware of that, if you have clients who are adverse to that. The card stock is not overly thick, but with a satin, flat finish which is different from the traditional cards from Alana Fairchild, and allow you get a nice bend without cracking the card stock. The finish really helps make the cards stick together easily without scratching, so I find that it doesn't shuffle in a way that doesn't have me peeling them in order to choose a card. The size is quite large compared to a traditional Tarot deck, but typical for Blue Angel decks.
The size of the cards is an average oracle deck size for Blue Angel, so they are larger. I found it to be a bit difficult for my small hands to get a grasp on the deck at times.
This deck was interesting with the information provided and I found that it is a lovely one to add if you are interested in learning more about different frequencies and energies of light. It is said to help connect to higher consciousness and to help you understand these energies further. There are interesting cards included that I thought were unique from other decks I have used in the past. There are some that include various labels for Hz frequencies to help you with certain aspects in a situation (like leaving a toxic one), and I found that to be a very fascinating aspect to learn about, as I am not sure I have seen that anywhere else.
The artwork is breathtaking. The fact that they all look like carved, marble pieces is just so well-executed and really add a different depth to the words that Alana has put together. A. Andrew is extremely talented and I can see why it felt like a natural connection to make between his stunning artwork and Alana's divinely guided wisdom.

Overall, I think this is a gorgeous deck that is powerful with the messages and also allows one to connect to the power of Isis. It is fresh and in-depth. I highly recommend it!
My overall opinion is that this deck is a 4 star choice.
