Card Drawing August 30, 2020

Good day, soul friends! Black Lives Matter!

Hope your week was magical! Hoping all is going well in your world. I have been busy and feeling grateful for the moments that allow me to slow down and reconnect. My shop is open, so go check out the options available to get your own personalized reading from me. I also offer fun video readings on Wisio - so check it out!

Today's guidance comes from The Illustrated Crystallary Deck by Maia Toll and I have a fun giveaway where you can get your own copy of it on my Instagram account that ends 8/31.

Which card(s) do you feel drawn to today?

Left - 1, Middle - 2, or Right - 3...

Focus on the image and chose which cards you feel drawn to before scrolling down.

.........

Did you choose your card, yet?

........

almost there!

If you chose Card 1:

Garden Quartz - There Are Worlds Within You

So often we turn outward, seeking to understand the world around us, while neglecting the worlds that thrive within. Garden Quartz invites you to remember that each organ in your body is a constellation, each cell a star. Your inner landscapes await your attention and bask in your noticing. There are worlds within. Come home to yourself.

What if, like Garden Quartz, the layers within you were visible and you could see the wondrous worlds that exist right under your own skin? Feel, notice, thank.

Inside each of us are layers of life, accrued year after year. Like an ancient city, we build on our own ruins. Things can get trapped - and layered - within. Do you see these worlds within as imperfections or enhancements? How do these layers of self shape your story of who you are?

If you picked Card 2:

Carnelian - Get Curious

Get out and see the world, Carnelian encourages, lending you strength and fortitude for the travels ahead. It hops a ride with any passing caravan, following the wanderings of merchants and messengers to their next destination. Carnelian is reminding you to get curious, because life is an adventure if you allow it to be.

Not only is Carnelian a great traveller, it is also a stone who has been intimate with humankind and privy to our secrets and stories for millennia. To the ancient Egyptians, the colors of Carnelian were a sunset turned solid. They called Carnelian "the setting sun" and used it as a guide and protector during transitions.

Can the rhythms of day and night create a metaphor for you about dying and what may come next?

If you selected Card 3:

Azurite - Activate the Void

Azurite holds the energy of this empty-fullness. It is not a container, but the space contained; not the walls of the womb, but the emptiness within. This void is the most precious of gifts because in this emptiness, in the pause at the crossroads of time and space, your intuition can soar. Once space is created, stuck energies begin to flow, funneling through heaviness, creating a place for something more daring or delicate than everyday life.

We often surround ourselves with stuff... and then live with the fear of losing it. We forget that emptiness contains potential. Where do you feel more free today? The today is important here: you might change your mind tomorrow or feel differently than you did yesterday.

At what point in this cycle do you feel empty? At what point are you full? What makes you feel free?

Thank you for participating in my card drawing for today. I hope that you enjoyed it! Did the card(s) you felt drawn to give you some guidance to think about?

Don't forget to check back next week for another card drawing!
