If you selected Card 1:
Vulnerable - Keywords: Authenticity, Strength, Confront, Throat Chakra, Subconscious, Shadow Work We might not recognize our strengths or understand how to use them until some unexpected situation draws it out of us. Courage is found. To become vulnerabledoesnotsuggestweakness.Awarenessofone’sownvulnerability is an opportunity to create change, for whenever life becomes uncomfortable change awaits. Says Brene Brown, “The core of authenticity is the courage to be imperfect, vulnerable, and to set boundaries.” It is time to speak your truth, to face your fear. Rabbit brings the energy of being alerted to his predators, asking you to let your fears fully surface so they can be dissolved. You may be feeling like you should withdraw. This is an opportunity to wait and regroup. You are in need of some rest and relaxation. You might even be feeling overwhelmed. Take some much needed downtime. Take in your surroundings. Notice the season and the changes that are taking place out in nature. Things are continually evolving. Think about the clouds you see in the sky. They are constantly moving, changing and reshaping themselves. Allow yourself to connect with Mother Earth and nature in a deeper way. Align your rhythm with the heartbeat of the Earth and slow your thoughts and emotions down. Trust that everything will work out. The signs that things work themselves out are all around you. Take notice.
Affirm to yourself daily that this is all part of your process, telling your subconscious that you are ready and willing to release that which no longer serves you. This allows your Higher Self to step in and make the necessary adjustments, without having to worry about ego clinging on for dear life. Know that you can completely sidestep the power struggle between ego and Soul when you learn to trust your higher wisdom. I release what no longer serves me, for the Highest Good Of All, by the Grace of the Divine.
If you were drawn to Card 2:
The Lesson -
Keywords: Listen, Transition, Superficial, Third-eye Chakra, Insight
Instead of analyzing the details, what is the essence - the theme or lesson to be realized? Crow is here to guide you into flight as you emerge from deep waters. This can be like a transition from water to air… what is evaporating? This is a time where mind and emotions are recognizably separate yet can feel entangled, signaling that you might be resisting change. Crow beckons you to explore the subconscious mind or astral realm, to take a look at ancient wisdom or teachings on a pressing issue, or to explore past and future life experiences for the purpose of integrating them into your present situation. What message do you need to heed? Crow can confirm a warning that you have been anticipating on an intuitive level. Work with Ajna (Third-Eye opening) using guided meditation or sound. Suggested practice: Close your eyes, and enter into the imagery of the card. Meditate on how your physical body feels in this space, and listen for the message Crow has for you.
What can one do to create change? It is the best mantra in the world; be it. BE the change you wish to see in the world. And that is not just lifestyle, it is a thought process too. It requires courage and determination and conviction and commitment. But it is possible. It takes action and focused intention. Coming together and teaching others. Once positive, healthy and sustainable thought at a time. We have the power to make the change by refusing what is no longer working for us on a moment to moment basis. Rather than living in doubt and fear of that which is presented to you, turn it around and create it into something beautiful. Believe in it. Use your power to create something new.
Do not worry. Think of all of the steps you have already taken to get you to this space you are in right now. Right here. You are already wiser and more learned than you can imagine. Take that wisdom from here, receive it gratefully and carry it with you as you travel on.
If you chose Card 3:
Energetic Shift -
Keywords: Intention, Rest, Preparation, Ritual, New Beginnings
The days leading up to the New Moon are wonderful to reflect and get clear on what your intentions are before the new cycle begins; whereas the energy following the New Moon is all about restoration, inspiration, new ideas, and a fresh start. This card calls you to explore how you are affected by your surroundings. It encourages you to explore how your energy shifts as you move through different situations, or interact with different kinds of people. Sometimes unexpected shifts will require you to be swift and gracious when it comes to adapting your actions, approach, mindset, and perspective.
Our personal and spiritual growth occurs in a series of rhythms and patterns. When we reach a certain level of experience and understanding, life will move into a holding pattern as we master it. Things will fall into a steady, reliable pattern. We come to know what to expect and how things are going to be. And because we humans are creatures of comfort and habit, we usually enjoy hanging out on the plateau where things are familiar and reliable. It is a necessary part of your growth and higher learning. You are moving to a new level of consciousness and awareness. In order for this to happen, some of the old ways of life and of being, must fall away to make room for the new.
Be gentle with yourself; use compassion and grace in your self-talk as well as in your dealings with others at this time. Keep your thoughts positive and your vibration high; you are manifesting as you go, every thought of the way. Try to stay open as these changes occur. It may not feel comfortable, but you will come through this as a more evolved and stable person. Receive the blessings of the shift with open arms; and reap the benefits of the new consciousness.
