Card Drawing August 25, 2019

Good day, soul friends! Hope your week was wonderful. I have been so busy and just getting things back on track with my family (back to school) and also getting my life together (Virgo season vibes).

Today's guidance comes from the Moon Oracle deck by Caroline Smith and John Astrop.

Which card(s) do you feel drawn to today?

Left - 1, Middle - 2, or Right - 3...

Focus on the image and chose which cards you feel drawn to before scrolling down.

.........

Did you choose your card, yet?

........

almost there!

If you selected Card 1:

Fortuna - The Sun and Jupiter in harmonious combination signify extreme good fortune. The gold coins represent the Sun and the bluebird in the traditional color of Jupiter. The coins are a symbol of good fortune in general and do not necessarily signify financial gain. The planet Jupiter is life-expanding while the Sun represents creative ability. As the Sun is in its own generous sign of Leo, this is the mansion of splendid opportunity. If this card is drawn, it often indicates that you were lucky enough to be born into a well-off family and will inherit significant sums of money, or that you are naturally talented in some way or will come into contact with someone who is. There is a portal opening right now; a window of opportunity. Prosperity, abundance, receiving a gift. It is bringing a blessing; one that will help you to get through the rest of this year and beyond. Don’t overthink it. Don’t block it. And do not underestimate it. Know that there is a blessing here. That prosperity is possible. That an unexpected gift will show up. That it is up to you to receive it. Just have faith.

If you were drawn to Card 2:

Sacrifice - The passion of Pluto and the compassion of Neptune taken together express the supreme quality of selfless action. This mansion denotes intense and extreme devotion to a subject in your care. The naked state of the woman in the image symbolizes honesty and the loss of everything. The flower is the last possession that is hers to give - it represents love. If this card is drawn, you are prepared to lose everything for the sake of a particular cause or another person. Integrity is paramount to you regarding this issue and you will not be persuaded to change your mind. Make your sacrifices wise ones… and be sure to decide whether the sacrifice is the best path. Usually the saying goes “Be careful what you wish for”, yet in this situation, the message is “Be careful for what you trade your dreams in for.” This message is to let you know that you must re-evaluate your self-worth when it comes to sacrificing your dreams and desires for the wishes of those around you. Don’t let fear, shame, guilt or doubt hold you back when making your decisions.

If you chose Card 3:

Wheel - In this fifth lunar mansion, the serious, security-minded planet Saturn conjoins with Mercury - planet of communication - in the excitable and sharp-thinking sign of Gemini. As a result, Saturn takes on a less austere quality than usual, influenced by the rather light weight planet Mercury, and at the same time enhances the staying power of Mercury. If you draw this card you have the ability to make good connections and to work with others to keep the wheels of particular enterprise turning. It is important to the success of your endeavors to move in the right social circles and to make useful contacts. A wheel often denotes gaining permission or acceptance by someone in a position of power. This card is essentially about who you know and how well they like you. A spin of The Wheel may bring unexpected luck, opportunity, and good fortune or it may present obstacles to our desires. The Wheel turns and some action from out past comes around to confront us. You need to be as lucky as you are skilled, maybe even more so in this instance. Luck comes most often when opportunity, preparation and skill meet.

Thank you for participating in my card drawing for today. I hope that you enjoyed it! Did the card(s) you felt drawn to give you some guidance to think about?
