Card Drawing December 2, 2018

Happy Sunday and December, soul fam! I want to say thank you for being a part of my life and journey. I am so thankful for your presence and support. When you begin to weave your journey, the divine provides the thread. I decided to use this beautiful creation and allow it to shine alone today in a card drawing.

Today's guidance comes from the Threads of Fate Oracle from Blair Porter and Brit June..

Which card(s) do you feel drawn to today?

Left - 1, Middle - 2, or Right - 3...

Focus on the image and chose which cards you feel drawn to before scrolling down.

Did you choose your card, yet?

almost there!

If you selected Card 1:

Surrender -

We often hear the word "Surrender" being thrown around intentional communities, and rightfully so - this is one of the primary lessons we are on earth to learn. It is also one of the most challenging. To surrender is to have our human nature take a back seat. This is not easy and we can find ourselves saying "I know how I should look at this" but we struggle when it comes to actually embodying it and putting it into practice.

When we are working with larger concepts, it is important to break it down. Rather than embracing "surrender" like a mantra, enter into a dialogue with it. What does it mean? What does it look like? If you were to surrender how would you feel? How would you move through life? How would your heart, soul, mind, and body feel? With the situation at hand, how would you engage differently? What are small things you can do daily that hold a container for surrender? Consider journaling around these questions and sit with what this card means for you and how you can integrate it.

You need an emotional release from whatever it is that is leaving you feeling stuck. Accept and surrender to your present circumstances. You may need to become more vulnerable and open to different experiences but this will help you end the struggle and give up your need for control. It is when you can really let go of all the worries and concerns that you have, that you find these concerns suddenly disappear and a new reality is possible.

Be open to miracles occurring in your life. Feel and know that these events are real. Let go of any resistance and banish any doubt that miracles can happen.

When you surrender to the experience, you'll learn a great deal and ultimately get what you truly need. Sometimes it's in releasing that we discover what we really need - as opposed to what we think we need.

Trust the process, have faith in the journey, and let go of the outcome.

If you were drawn to Card 2:

Take Risk -

Risks are personal to each one of us. To some, climbing a mountain doesn't feel risky. To others, having a conversation with a stranger does. What has been calling you that you have been afraid to do? Comfort kills growth. It is important that we regularly do things that push the envelope, that make us feel nervous, apprehensive and uneasy (with the exception of physical danger). This card is asking you to take the plunge and do the thing that intimidates you - trust that the net will appear after you jump.

This tells us that the seeds that we carefully plant and cultivate, or carelessly toss away and neglect all lead us to our situations both present and future. The past is the past and can no longer be altered, but it can be acknowledged and learned from. The present moment is where the greatest powers of manifestation lies. The future is the harvest of our intention, focus, emotion and action.

Luck comes most often when opportunity, preparation and skill meet. How can you create your own luck; using mindful preparation, your unique skill set and your commitment to self-belief? Do not fear any part of your process; embrace it without expectation, with trust in your heart, that the Divine is simply guiding you from fantasy into fulfillment.

Take risks. Be open to a new or unexpected opportunity.

If you chose Card 3:

The Warrior -

Pulling the Warrior card indicates a need for strong fire energy and internal power. The Warrior is a call to action as opposed to just a state of mind. It asks you to examine not just the oppressive people in your life, but also the larger systems within the world.. and then get to work. The Warrior is not about complacency. In identifying where you need to stand up more you need to stand up more, you may make those around you feel uncomfortable and defensive, but you must continue forward.

The Warrior can have a cutting message, it is saying "I see what you are doing, but what else can you do?" Warrior sacrifices parts of themselves for humanity at large.

There are advocates for love on his earth, those that are passionate defenders of the freedom for all beings to grow and fulfill their divine destiny. These warriors for the soul know they can either use darkness to serve the growth of the light, or allow it to consume their sense of hope, trust and faith in the right outworking of the destiny of all living things. You are being initiated in the ways of working with darkness constructively, to become a soul warrior for all living beings.

Whatever situation needs healing in your life, or in the world, you have the power to bring it about. If you go for the goal directly, trying to force a change, you will be putting your considerable energy into pursuit and unintentionally set up resistance. Connect to your power so you can effect positive change.

I AM a powerful warrior, and You are a powerful warrior, too. Together we stand for what we believe in. Breath in that power. Let it course through your veins. Hold on to that feeling. And remember, Dear One, you are far more powerful than you think.

Thank you for participating in my card drawing for today. I hope that you enjoyed it! Did the card(s) you felt drawn to give you some guidance to think about?
