Card Drawing October 21, 2018

Good day, soul friends! Hoping your week was amazing and your weekend full of loveliness. Hoping Venus Retrograde is treating you well, and that things are moving along nicely.

Today's guidance comes from The Wisdom Deck by my amazing and talented friends: Ashley Binford and Kelly Unten Mackura and also the Empowered Visions deck by Michelle Pazicni.

Which set of card(s) do you feel drawn to today?

Left - 1, Middle - 2, or Right - 3...

Focus on the image and chose which cards you feel drawn to before scrolling down.

.........

Did you choose your card, yet?

........

almost there!

If you chose the set of Cards 1: 12 - Ruled by Pisces - Water The 12th House deals with the deep and dark deconstruction of the soul. With a focus on he past, it stirs up secrets and fears that need to be revealed, cleansed, or cleared. By design we have been prepared to handle this isolating work. Centered around the idea of "solitude," it is only through looking within that we can reconstruct the dream, forever changing our soul's destiny. The 12th House is the most mesmerizing of all the houses. Mysticism, dreaming, drowning, vast seas, and surrendering, are all themes that belong to this "house of self-undoing." It is also the place in the chart where we lapse in our judgment and make bad choices. Like the sign of Pisces that rules it, the 12 house falls at the end of the zodiac, which indicates a type passage or rebirth. This house contains the meanings of all the signs of planets and all the other houses within it - the twelfth house stands for the ALL. The warning here is to not look to others for fulfillment or the others to give you your purpose, at least not at the current phase. The 12 house gives you truth; it gives you magic. Each is important, and you cannot be all that is without the other. Take heed and search for clarity. "It's ok to stop doing and just be." In today’s society, we are taught to go and go and go. This does quite a few things. One, it causes us to think that if we are not keeping up with everyone else, we are somehow not as good. Two, it prevents us from dealing with true feelings and emotions when problems arise. Our minds need to be quiet and still in order to fully handle emotions. And three, it causes so much physical, emotional and spiritual burn out that people are struggling more and more with anxiety and depression than ever (which is also due to other reasons but that’s a whole other story). Stop whatever it is you are worrying about just for a moment and breathe. Focus on your breath for a moment and revel in the feeling that you are alive in this moment. Feel the life energy running through your body. Allow it to energize and replenish you. Know that whenever you feel stressed, you can always stop and just breathe.

If you selected the set of Cards 2:

3 - Ruled by Gemini - Air The 3rd House deals with our original learning environment, ultimately shaping the way we think and communicate. With a focus on the family, (siblings and cousin, too), this house also brings up a sense of unity. Reflecting DNA, it also brings with it the energy of our ancestors and mental downloads. The 3rd House is the area of the astrological chart that reveals how we think, speak, and communicate. It signifies our need to know and demonstrate how we put our concepts and thoughts into words. It is, more than any other, the house of the mind. Mercury is about giving and receiving information. There is a need to uncover all that you can and relate the information to others. Meditation and relaxation would be of benefit for you, as well. How are you communicating at the moment? It could also represent your ability to talk your way into and out of tough situations. "When you let go, you create space for better things to enter your life." Stop holding on to the stuff that is no longer serving you. You can’t move forward if you are stuck in the past, wondering if maybe things will be different this time. We have to challenge ourselves because we so easily get stuck in patterns that no longer work for us. What is no longer working in your life? What is making you hold on to this? Just for today, let go of this and see what happens. If you feel like you need to pick it back up tomorrow, that’s fine. But don’t give up after just one try. Try again and again, until you realize how better things can be when you let go of all that holds you back.

If you picked the set of Cards 3: 10 - Ruled by Capricorn - Earth The 10th House deals with our purpose, path, and career due to our personal powers and unique strengths. Focused on our public image, or sole in society, it further reflects our ambition and drive. Additionally, this house is centered around expectations, goals, and achievements that are influenced by the patriarch, our parents and/or father figures. In astrology, the 10th house embodies the masculine principle and represents the father or a primary male influence, or at least a very powerful influential man. It is the House of Capricorn. It indicates putting forth a diligent and concentrated effort. The climb and the advancement of your reputation is what the 10th house stands for. It is a big picture, type of house. Since the 10th House is ruled by Saturn, being required to tell the truth, or to be honest, will have great bearing on how you advance to your goals. When you make a substantial contribution to society, you will earn the authority you seek. "Born with too many colors for this black and white world." Don’t ever hide your beautiful, colorful self. Maybe you have always felt like an outcast or like you never fit in. Maybe you were diagnosed with ADHD and told you would never succeed because you “can’t focus or sit still”. Screw that. You are amazing, talented and have so much to give the world through your uniqueness. Harness your individuality. Use what works for you. Sometimes, what we view as being negative is actually one of our greatest strengths when we are put in a situation that encourages and supports our growth and self-expression. Look at what you bring to the table and never be afraid to shine your light.
