........

almost there!

If you were drawn to the set of Cards 1:

Ganesha - Obstacles - "Obstacles are removed or placed for good reason. Invite in a drama free life." The god Ganesha is one of the most loved of all Hindu gods. A picture of statue of Ganesha in your car assist you in avoiding accidents and traffic, and he grants peace to a house should his form be placed at the front door - or even the door to your room. He is also the patron of writers, having penned the Sanskrit, Indian epic of Mahabharatem, and is the perfect deity to call upon to break the obstacle of writer's block! Any problems writing papers, working out problems, or finding a job, Ganesha should be able to help you. Remember that sometimes obstacles are in our way in order for us to change direction and steer toward the path that is best for us. Sometimes we make our own dramas and our own obstacles. Procrastination is just one such way that we create our own pressures and stop our own achievements. We can also focus too much on perceived blocks we think are there - such as a lack of inspiration or not understanding something - and we let these perceived problems stop us, instead of diving in and getting the work done. Pomona - Plenty - "Trust that you have enough. Ask and you will receive. It is now time to prune back the dead wood in order to grow. Nourish yourself and the earth." The beautiful Pomona cherished her garden above everything else and took the greatest joy from it. From the first rays of pale dawn to the rich gold of the setting sun, the exquisite Pomona nurtured every plant within her domain. Her fair hand seemed to always chain a silver pruning knife which she used to gently curb a too vigorous growth or to remove wood that was no longer of use to the plant. One tee may be cut back to allow sunlight to filter through to another; one branch reduced so that the plant be energized to send its previous energy in a better more fruitful direction. She prepared the soil diligently so that the seeds she planted would grow with ease and that the fruits resulting would be full of goodness. Pomona reminds us that we have unlimited plenty in our lives and in the natural world and that we need to cultivate and care for it. In both a literal and figurative sense, there can be limited growth if we do not choose to prune back the dead wood in our lives. For most of us, there are always some aspects of your current experience. These things may be taking the form of an outmoded belief, a bad habit, a damaging pattern or a plain and simple fear. Often, with these things, we need to make a decision to finally leave them behind or cut them out of our lives once and for all. Just as Pomona holds her pruning knife ready, we too nee to be ready to use our true wisdom and courage to free up our natural capacity for growth.

If you selected the set of Cards 2:

Osiris - Renewal - "Pay attention to your need for rejuvenation and renewal, both physically and mentally. You are invited to experience the magic of hope." Perhaps one of the most enduring gods of resurrection, Osiris, husband of Isis, is one of the key members of the Egyptian pantheon. You can call upon Osiris when you need to be renewed. When you are tired, physically, or mentally, his magical energy will nourish you. When you feel like there is no hope, particularly after trauma or a difficult relationship, his presence will soothe you. Osiris also appears where there is a beginning or transition close at hand. Pay attention to your own self-case and your own rejuvenating power. Should you need to, take time to rest and repair. Morgan Le Fae - Magic - "You have power and it is real. A secret will be revealed. You have an unexpected ally. Try some magic!" Morgan Le Fae has come dancing into your life with her drums and her magic to invite you to discover and live your rhythms. What are your personal rhythms? Do you know the best time for you to exercise, sleep, eat, be creative, make love, work, et cetera? Or do you spend all your vitality adjusting to the rhythms imposed on your by your work, family, lover, friends? Have you been submerged in the lie of another and lived his/her rhythms instead of your own? Perhaps you never discovered your own rhythms because you wanted to please those around you and be “one of the team.” It is vital for you to live according to your own rhythms. Flowing with your rhythm brings you greater energy because you are no longer suppressing what is natural to you. Morgan Le Faye says vitality, health, and wholeness are nurtured when you flow with your own unique beat rather than against it. She is here to remind you that magic is indeed real and the power of intention is great. She might also be tempting you to try some magic yourself and cast for your highest good and for the good of all. She also reminds us that the truth in all things is often the best way forward.

If you chose the set of Cards 3:

Lugh -Skill - "This is a time to further develop your education and skills. Enjoy your unique talents." Being a person of skill is something to celebrate. No matter if you are good with your hands or with your mind, being skillful in the area you choose is good for your confidence and self-respect. Perhaps you would like to extend your skill set or learn a new talent. This is an important road to continue to travel on. We should never stop learning or at least improving what we know. Sometimes when we have many talents, we don't know which one to concentrate on and that can lead to analysis paralysis. Lugh also shows you that you can be versatile in your talents; he was a swordsman of repute and a sensitive poet. You don't have to stick to one thing. We have the opportunity to explore the breadth of our talents as well as their depth. Follow what you love most! Boudicca - Unity - "You will be victorious. Teamwork or a partnership may be better than doing it alone. Synergy is indicated. Delegation is useful at this time." When you feel downtrodden, a victim of injustices or that you cannot possibly win, call upon the Queen of the Inceni to assist you! While healthy anger may fuel wise action, rage rarely does. This is a time of revelations. The truth is out. Like a sword, your heart cuts through deceptions that hold others captive. Righteous anger is expressed through non-compliance withe the status-quo. You investigate and expose manipulation and injustice. Your fearlessness liberates others to think for themselves. This card also signifies an inner victory: cutting through the bonds of self-deception. You may have had mystical experiences where you have had true union with other beings or even with the Unity, the One Who Is All. Such experiences change our lives, effectively showing us that the saying “we are all one” is not just a pious belief but is a statement of actual fact. We are not separate like the flowers in a field, but are one. The only way to reach this awareness is to surrender the small everyday self to the larger spiritual self, which is Unity. Experiencing full oneness with the Unity that Boudicca can bring is transformative.

Thank you for participating in my card drawing for today. I hope that you enjoyed it! Did the card(s) you felt drawn to give you some guidance to think about.
