Today's review is covering a deck that caught my attention for it's beautiful artwork and it being another creation from Alana Fairchild. I couldn't wait to get my own deck and work with this beauty.

Sacred Rebels Oracle
I purchased this deck when I saw it online from Blue Angel publishing and thought it was a different deck. I have grown to love it so much for the depth, versatility, and beautiful artwork. I love Alana's decks and have found that each deck of hers I get becomes a fast favorite. I really enjoy her style and execution of the themes.

My Personal Review
This deck is meant to be used as an Oracle deck, allowing you to devise your own meanings of the cards, as well. The dimensions of the deck are 1.5 x 4.2 x 6.2 inches and published by Blue Angel Publishing and Llewellyn Publications.
The large lift top box is beautiful. And similar quality to Blue Angel Publishing decks. I love the quality and also that the decks are a little larger than the size of the decks. They are not easy to transport in their boxes, but I love the quality of the boxes and the larger size, which allows for a thick and in-depth book to be included. There is also no cardboard to hold the cards in place, so if you are traveling with the deck, the cards bang around in the box a bit, due to the largeness of the box.
There is also includes a wonderfully detailed 180 page guidebook, that is so in-depth, much like her other creations. I love how thorough and gentle the messages are. Alana goes through so much of the process of the channeled messages she receives for each card. I enjoy a lot of her work and her writings. They are peaceful and fierce. The card backs are a simple lens flare. Reversals are up to the reader but are really not needed with this deck. The cards are high quality with a shiny, sticky feel that makes shuffling a little less than ideal. A keyword and number is printed on the front of each card which corresponds to the keyword descriptions in the guidebook. There is nothing harsh, garish, or obscene in this deck. It can be used to read for any client, without upsetting them, or having difficulty to translate cards. The card stock is not overly thick, shiny, sticky to shuffle, and allow you get a nice bend without cracking the card stock. The finish really helps make the cards shuffle easily without scratching, but some of the cards do stick together when the deck is new. I have noticed with longer use that this happens less. I have yet to notice flaking of the cardstock.
The size of the cards is an average oracle deck size for Blue Angel, so they are larger than the typical Hay House deck. I found it to be a bit difficult for my small hands to get a grasp on the deck at times. What I do like is the larger cards for pictures, as it allows you to really see the beautiful artwork and the breathtaking details. This is probably my favorite artistically done deck. The imagery is beyond anything else in my collection. Each card is a piece of art. The harmony between the artist and Alana is revealed and on display in this masterpiece.
The 'Sacred Rebels Oracle' is for those that are ready to celebrate and nurture their individuality. When you are a Sacred Rebel you want to be fully alive and express your authentic truths. You want to help heal the world, even when that means shaking things up. Sacred rebels love life and refuse to believe that manifesting their dreams is impossible! This oracle deck is filled with striking imagery and beautiful heartfelt guidance to support you in awakening your sacred rebellious heart, so that you will trust in your own uniqueness and authenticity, and honor your own creative power.
This may not be the easiest to just pick up for those who are not used to having to rely too heavily on intuition, but with practice and an open mind, it can quickly become a gentle favorite. That being said, it is down to earth and very user friendly. The harmonious design and in-depth interpretations really make it easy for anyone to connect not just to the beautiful messages but also the card's images.
The artwork is spectacular and soothing. Each card taps into the messages that are expressed in the artwork. It is one of the most cohesively done decks I have encountered. No detail overlooked, nothing overdone, and everything working together to make it a perfectly executed deck.

Overall, I think this was a much needed and well-executed deck. It is filled to the brim with detail, in-depth in the interpretations, and it is breathtakingly beautiful. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for different divination tools!
My overall opinion is that this deck is a 5 star choice.
