Card Drawing August 4, 2019

Good day, soul friends! soul fam! Hoping your week has gone smoothly. I am finally back home and getting back into a schedule. My shops are now open once more and my schedule is filling up - so thank you for those who have purchased and inquire about my sessions + readings. Been a busy day of unpacking, grocery runs, and also just getting ready for the week. Decided to keep it a bit fun and funky this week.

As a different way to use some divination, let's use some Playing Cards.

Today's guidance comes from the Contraband Playing Cards distributed by Theory 11 and the Empowered Visions Affirmation Mandalas deck by Michelle Pazicni.

Which set of card(s) do you feel drawn to today?

Left - 1, Middle - 2, or Right - 3...

Focus on the image and chose which cards you feel drawn to before scrolling down.

.........

Did you choose your card, yet?

........

almost there!

If you selected the set of Cards 1:

Jack of Spades - This card represents a trouble-maker. But before you judge too harshly, keep in mind that this person doesn’t necessarily have malicious intent. After all, we’ve all been a Jack of Spades to someone - it’s just a matter of perspective. This card also describes mistrustful and paranoid behavior or taking the “low road” or burning bridges in relationships. You are about to meet someone who will have a great impact on your life. Your relationship could be passionate but also could make you suffer. This may be a very spirited and full of emotions. This passion could end in pain. Nevertheless, the Jack of Clubs refers to a man whose attitude is questionable. It could also represent you not focusing on your path forward. Queen of Diamonds - The Queen of Diamonds represents a powerful figure. All queens represent powerful women, and this one shows a tough disposition. This Queen is practical and down to earth. She gives financial or material support and makes you feel safe. She may appear to represent a mother or mother figure. This is a reminder that you may need to lighten your mood in regard to a situation if you want to move forward. You must not overthink. "It's better to start now, and start small, than not at all." What ideas have been stirring within you? What have you been wanting to create? Don’t hold back! Start small. What is one simple step you can make towards making your dream a reality? It’s always better to do one thing than nothing at all. At least you can feel the satisfaction of accomplishing something, instead of sitting around feeling guilty and wishing that things were different.

If you were drawn to the set of Cards 2:

Eight of Clubs - This card shows you are making progress toward some goal or that you are “going somewhere” in your relationship or career. This can represent healthy business relationships that bring a good network. It can point to having a very routine position in your work life or things staying very stable. This is also the card signifying travel. If just the 8 of Clubs appears, a short journey can be expected. Travel will be delayed or postponed with a Spade that follows. It relates to your professional world: it points to professional success despite the difficulties you have had. This card announces a state of well-being following a time of great efforts. Seven of Spades - The Seven of Spades can indicate the completion of a project, but the results are less than desirable. This can also represent feelings of being left out of the crowd, perhaps not reaching the status quo. It can also mean that someone suddenly turns against you. You’re not getting the full picture when this card appears. This may be due to confusion, denial, deceit or just plain missing information. The Spades energy blocks the introspection and clarity of the Seven, making you easy prey for those who would take advantage or try to con you. Remember, deception comes in many forms. "I am enough & I do enough." Say it again. I am enough and I do enough. There is no need to burn yourself out or set yourself on fire to keep others warm. Focus on YOU. You are a majestic unicorn with a rainbow mane, farting out glitter and spreading love all over the world. You are one of a freaking kind. And you are enough just as you are, flaws and all (because we ALL have flaws no matter what). Do not allow others’ stories of what “should be” influence your view of yourself.

If you chose the set of Cards 3:

King of Hearts - This is the King you want to receive in a relationship reading when asking, “Is he the one?” This King is marriage material and he represents a male relative, a dear friend, and someone who is married or in a committed relationship. It can also represents a large obstacle that you will overcome, then finding abundance and happiness. He gives emotional support and makes you feel loved. He's got family life on his mind and he's generally considerate of other's feelings. The King of Hearts tells that you are approaching love with much honor. Queen of Spades - The Queen of Spades is a serious and highly educated woman who has gained honor over the course of her lifetime. In business situations, she is a woman who is capable of helping you attain opportunities... that is, if you have her respect. She is skeptical at first, but very handy. This Queen is usually causing worries or problems. She has been hurt in a relationship and is having trouble letting go of the pain. So she may be seen as emotionally distant. You may be overly skeptical about a situation, making it difficult to move forward. Make sure you are being honest with yourself at this time. "I am in charge of how I feel." No one can make you feel a certain way. You are always in control of your emotions. When you allow others to “make you feel” a certain way, you are giving them power over you. The best feeling in the world is when you do not react when others try to get to you react. When this happens, send them love and be on your way, knowing you have peacefully flowing through you.

Thank you for participating in my card drawing for today. I hope that you enjoyed it! Did the card(s) you felt drawn to give you some guidance to think about?

Don't forget to check back next week for another card drawing!
