Card Drawing November 27, 2016

Hello! Good evening, my friends! I can't believe Christmas is almost here! Today's guidance is from the Tarot in Thyme deck by Kathryn Thyme Giese.

Which card(s) do you feel drawn to today?

1, 2, or 3...

Focus on the image and chose which cards you feel drawn to before scrolling down.

.........

Did you choose your card, yet?

........

almost there!

If you chose Card 1:

The Tree -

The tree asks us to look at our roots. It represents our families that we are born to and the families that we make. The tree encourages us to grow, to branch out. She encourages us to take the time we need to grow and now rush and reminds us how important putting down roots can be.

The strength of these roots supports the tree’s innate desire to grow to the light, to reach not only upward, but outward as well. All your past experiences, all the knowledge you have gained and all your previous work now all come together to serve a higher more heartfelt purpose. This is a period in which you truly are the master of your own destiny; a time where anything you would truly love to achieve or create is possible.

You have been feeling scattered and spacey lately. You are not fully in your body, and that is because you have not been able to get grounded. this is quite literal in that your body is made of the materials of the Earth. So when you feel disconnected from your body, you are inevitably disconnected from Earth. So get yourself grounded.

As soon as you have the chance, go outdoors and sit or stand with your back supported by a tree. Feel its solidness and integrity - it is simply being a tree. Breathe in the essence of the Tree Spirit, and allow this to fill you up.

If you picked Card 2:

Owls -

Owls come when we need a guide to learn and grow. These owls stare on, quiet, and content with all their power and wisdom. They swoop in quietly reminding us to be noble and self-fulfilling as we grow and prosper. The Goddess, Guide, and protect.

Owls have for thousands of years been part of folklore and have been considered a special or sacred animal. With their huge forward facing eyes and otherworldly appearance, they have been seen as both wise and as harbingers of the supernatural.

Birds work closely with our angels and guides to bring us messages that we can bring into our lives. They are trying to guide us, to help us progress. When we see the owl, we are being asked to look at things from a larger perspective, see the mystery and magic without superstition. We are being told to have an objective point of view, taking in all the details, so that nothing can escape us. We are being told to see and have faith in the veils that separate us from the magic, and to look inside for our true Universal wisdom.

Owl is also believing in your own intuitive powers and making wise and rational decisions. It is about seeing the bigger picture, soaring with conviction and knowing how powerful you really are.

If you were attracted to Card 3:

The Bear -

The Bear starts our journey inwards - he is the spirit within us that sometimes runs wild and powerful and other times needs to hibernate and seek solace within our inner beings. The bear is often associated with our family and our ancestors and may bring a guide with him.

To accomplish the goals and dreams that we carry, the art of introspection is necessary. If we choose to believe that there are many questions to life, we must also believe that the answers to these questions reside within us. Each and every being has the capacity to quiet the mind, enter the silence and Know.

This is a time of contemplation as the year draws to a close. What will be our intentions in the year to come? Where will we aim our focus? What must be released? What lessons need to be learned so that we can move forward?

What is possible if we really put our minds to it?

Time alone is called for here. Yes, this is the busiest time of year, that is why it is even more important to find your center now. Solitude, even if only for a few minutes a day, is vital to your balance, to your peace of mind. Time to breathe deeply. Time to be receptive to your Divine guidance. Time to reflect, to process, to expand. This would be an ideal time to get outside and connect with Nature. Breathe some fresh air. Get out under the stars.

Thank you for participating in my card drawing for today. I hope that you enjoyed it! Did the card(s) you felt drawn to give you some guidance to think about.
