Card Drawing July 29, 2019
Good day, soul friends! I hope your week was lovely and that the weekend brought you some much needed rest. I was out at a national park all day yesterday without service (so good to unplug!), so I didn't get a chance to do the card drawings, as I intended to do. So, here's a blessing for Monday and to finish up July!
Today's guidance comes from the Aquarian Tarot by David Palladini. I only brought a few small decks to hang with while on vacation.
Which card(s) do you feel drawn to today?
Left - 1, Middle - 2, or Right - 3...
Focus on the image and chose which cards you feel drawn to before scrolling down.
Did you choose your card, yet?
If you selected Card 1:
The Empress - "Flourishing growth." Through this card, manifestation of growth is on the horizon. You're the creator, and the seed that have been planted in the past - whether they were happiness, comfort, abundance, prosperity, family, children, ideas, or even thoughts - are now ready to give birth into your world. Be patient as you watch your seeds take root and grow. Nurture them as they become strong and healthy. Open yourself up to the life force of the Universe. This card also represents femininity and Mother Earth, who is calling to you. The arms of her beauty are reaching out; she wants to embrace you on her seashores, mountains, forests, and gardens - go to her and meet her halfway. Acknowledge that the same energy that makes up the heavens, earth, platens, animals, and mineral kingdom is also a part of you. Start nurturing yourself, and infuse your soul with love and compassion. Soon others will see and feel your devotion. As you interact with others around you now, or even if you're in the midst of solving a problem, use gentle care and kindness as you handle such situations. This isn't a time for you to be forceful, inconsiderate, possessive, domineering, or pushy. Act from the loving space of your heart center. The benevolent energy that resides there will assist you in making sacrifices in order to care for and help others, as well as yourself.
If you were drawn to Card 2:
Six of Cups - "The sweet scent of memories." There is power and purpose in reflecting on the past to guide you forward. Sinking into memories and experiences and feeling that uplifted you, where you felt connected and free can be a wonderful navigational tool as you create in the now. The Six of Cups represents nostalgia and happiness. It is where you take a walk down memory lane on your own or perhaps with an old friend from the past. There is an element of balance that needs to be heeded with this card. It is useful and healthy to transport yourself back to the past - especially when reconnecting with elements and aspects of yourself that you enjoy and wish to cultivate again. Yet, care must be given to not become so attached to the past that you forget to live and enjoy what you are creating now. This is a beautiful card to receive, denoting a sense of carefree freshness. It may indicate that you are or will soon be returning to a familiar stomping ground. Enjoy the lightness and joy of this time, let your inner child come out to play and squirrel away the gifts the past is now offering you.
If you chose Card 3:
The Sun - You are reaching a period in your life where you are able to shine! Light radiates from you, you are energized and vital and able to give your light to all those you come into contact with. The Sun is a card of warmth, blessings and success. It is when you can really feel your own power and see the bright and grand vision of what makes you truly happy. This card symbolizes the positive and powerful energy that now surrounds you! By embracing this energy, you can improve current relationships and draw new ones to you. See yourself in a glowing born of brilliant light. Believe in the power of this light to infuse your relationships with enthusiasm, life, and greater love and understanding. See it moving forward outward, surrounding all of the people you know and filling them with joy and hope. Visualization can be quite powerful, so use it to magnetize and attract what you want in life. The Sun brings you happiness and joy. It suggests a time for feeling carefree and happy in your skin. The Sun ignites a great period of creativity and activity so get started on that book or painting you have been thinking about for it will be a true expression of yourself. Optimism and positivity abound when The Sun appears. Know that enlightenment and energy are on their way to you! Stop holding yourself back and begin to shine!
