Card Drawing February 14, 2019
Good day, soul friends! Happy Valentine's Day, soul friends! Wanted to do a little mixup today, and calling it a Salty & Sweet card drawing like a delish sea salted caramel on this Love day. Beware, these cards may bite! Lol..
Today's guidance comes from the Psychic Tarot for the Heart Oracle by John Holland and the REBEL DECK Cards Couple's Edition deck by Rebel Deck.
Which set of card(s) do you feel drawn to today?
Left - 1, Middle - 2, or Right - 3...
Focus on the image and chose which cards you feel drawn to before scrolling down.
Did you choose your card, yet?
If you selected the set of Cards 1:
Open Up -
Sometimes past sorrows use you to withdraw - both form your emotions and from other people - as a way of preventing further pain. However, this closing up or shutting down presents a free flow of energy from and to you, interfering with the ability of the Universe to fulfill your desires. When this card appears, it suggests that you may have blocked or closed off your energy field in some way. Have you let sadness or fear present you from moving forward into more satisfying, loving relationships? Release this blocking energy working with affirmations, prayers, and your Spirit Guides. The more you open up your energy field, the sooner you will receive what you desire.
Also watch out for the need to control. For relationships to thrive, the energy must be free flowing. Everyone must have the right to self- expression. When you open yourself up, you allow your relationships to grow and evolve.
"Open your mouth."
Talk. Use big words like validate, acknowledge, and empathize.
At the heart of all relationships is communication. Hidden messages can be seen by looking at body language, facial expressions and tone of voice. Improvements in these areas help to support solid friendships and relationships. Speak with truth and integrity. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Don’t be impatient and intolerant - this could lead to misunderstandings and actions that, once said, cannot be taken back.
If you picked the set of Cards 2:
Introspection and clarity are important at this time. Feelings that have lain dormant are now coming to the surface. They have been part of your subconscious for some time. They're referred to as your "shadow" self and represent all of your fears and delusions regarding matters of the heart. You may have concerns about examining these issues but know that when an issue raises to the surface, it's ready to be faced and healed. Have the courage to acknowledge and confront these newly emerging feelings. Look at them from all sides, and try to determine where they first came from. When and how were they planted in your subconscious?
Question the validity of these feelings. Often they were based on your childhood imagination, and are no more than illusions. They're not appropriate for your adult relationships, yet they persist. They're not based on reality, but they're powerful influences and can affect your relationships in major ways. They can even prevent a romantic relationship from manifesting.
Have the courage to explore your beliefs and misconceptions about love. You may find that these emerging feelings are based not only on your limited perceptions, but also on what you actually saw or experienced as a child. Know that whatever your reality was then, it does not have to be your reality now. You are no longer that person. Examine these feelings and gain clarity on who you are and what is true for you regarding your relationships.
Affirmation - "I examine my feeling about relationships and release what is no longer my truth."
"Go all in..."
Or get the fuck out.
This is a message of commitment to yourself first; your life and your journey. It is a message of commitment to our life purpose, alignment to our Soul and connection to the Divine. Only then are we able to move forward in our relationships into loving and sacred union. It is a time to trust in ourselves, have faith that we are capable and be curious about why exactly we are here, now. It is a time of receptivity and embracing possibility.
If you were drawn to the set of Cards 3:
Clarity of Belief -
Great potential is around you to define who you really are at this time in your life, and to determine what your beliefs are regarding love and commitment. Discard any outdated ideas about how a relationship should function and what the proper "roles" should be. Decide what you need and what you're willing to give. Different relationships will require different strategies for success. You need to be flexible and open-minded. Bring a breath of fresh air to your way of thinking about love and partnerships!
When you have gained clarity, gently communicate this to other people with whom you're in a relationship. Explain how you would like to see the relationships change or grow, and exchange ideas on how each of you might alter your behavior to make this happen. Act upon your new insights, and transform your relationships!
"People are messy."
Love 'em anyway.
It’s easy to get off track in a relationship, especially with all the pressures of family, bills, work, and other financial responsibilities. We focus on what we don’t have, or wish we had, and we get further and further from each other. When you can take the time to reconnect, and find what you appreciate and love about the other person, it can propel you back into that passion you felt in the beginning of the relationship.
Thank you for participating in my card drawing for today. I hope that you enjoyed it! Did the card(s) you felt drawn to give you some guidance to think about?
